Born in Seattle, Washington, and raised in Northern California, Taylor earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno. During her undergraduate years, she founded the Women Against Taboo Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women and children in Thailand build pathways out of the survival sex industry through education and long-term economic opportunity.

Taylor began her public speaking career in 2018, delivering sexual health education to college students across sororities and fraternities. She then launched her nursing career at Seattle Children's Hospital as a pediatric psychiatry and behavioral health registered nurse before earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Regis College.

Today, Taylor practices as a menopause and sexual health Nurse Practitioner at San Diego Menopause, where she provides evidence-based hormone and sexual healthcare for women while continuing to educate audiences across the country.

Whether speaking to healthcare professionals, corporate organizations, universities, or live audiences, Taylor's goal remains the same: to challenge outdated narratives, replace misinformation with evidence-based education, and help change the conversation around women's health.

Dr. Taylor Stafford is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), post-doctoral sex counseling fellow of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), public speaker, sex educator, and founder of the Women Against Taboo Foundation. She is on a mission to change the conversation around women's health through engaging, evidence-based education that inspires lasting change
